Abstract

PT XYZ is a food manufacturing company that uses skim milk powder as a primary raw material. The company has been facing inconsistent performance from its three suppliers, which has affected production operations. However, there is no structured and objective system in place to evaluate supplier performance. This study aims to identify the most influential criteria and sub-criteria, and to comprehensively assess supplier performance. The methods used are Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine priority weights, and Standardized Unitless Rating (SUR) to evaluate supplier performance. The AHP results indicate that quality is the top priority criterion with a weight of 0.356. Based on the SUR results, Supplier A is the best-performing supplier with a score of 0.141, excelling in cost, flexibility, and responsiveness. Supplier C, with a score of -0.048, performed well in quality and delivery, while Supplier B had the lowest performance with a score of -0.088. This research provides an objective basis for PT XYZ to make informed decisions regarding contract partnerships and more effective, targeted supply chain management.
