Abstract

Background: Cerebral Palsy is a condition characterized by chronic, non-progressive brain damage that occurs in brain tissue during the growth stage. Spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy is a type of cerebral palsy characterized by increased muscle tone in all four limbs that can cause disruption to motor function and inhibit a child's growth and development. Objective: To find out the examination, problems, and interventions in children with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. Method: Using a case study using one sample containing an examination using the Modified Ashworth Scale, Gross Motor Function Measure, and Gross Motor Function Classification System. Results: After conducting an evaluation of 3 meetings, there were no significant changes in posture, spasticity, sensory, reflexes, gross motor skills and mobilization and transfer abilities in children, but the child felt more comfortable. Conclusion: Problems identified from the examination results are used as a basis for providing interventions aimed at evaluating the condition experienced by the child.
