Abstract

This study employs a quantitative approach aimed at identifying, analyzing, and validating the influence of environmental concern, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and price on consumers’ purchase intention toward Wuling electric vehicles. The population consists of individuals who are aware of and interested in Wuling EVs. A total of 100 respondents were selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The analysis includes both descriptive and inferential methods, processed using SmartPLS version 4.0. The findings indicate that: (1) environmental concern significantly influences purchase intention, (2) e-WOM has a positive effect on purchase intention, and (3) price perception also plays a role in shaping consumers’ purchase intention. However, this study is limited to only three independent variables, whereas other factors may also significantly impact consumers’ interest in purchasing electric vehicles.
