Abstract

The electricity industry has a high risk of workplace accidents, especially for third parties such as contractors involved in operation, maintenance and construction activities. The Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) is an important component in PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cikupa's efforts to ensure that all work carried out by contractors complies with applicable occupational safety and health standards. This study aims to determine the implementation of CSMS at PT PLN, evaluate its impact in reducing work accidents, and identify challenges faced during implementation. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, FGD, and analysis of relevant documents. The research informants were SPV HSSE, HSSE Officer, Procurement and Vendors. The results of this study indicate that PT PLN (Persero) UP3 has implemented CSMS systematically, including the qualification, selection, safety training, field monitoring, and contractor performance evaluation stages. Based on the analysis of the six elements of the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS), the company's compliance rate is 99% out of 100%. The element with the lowest success rate (94%) is the procurement (selection) of goods/services element.
