Abstract
Political Education is one of the traditional functions of political parties aimed at the general public regarding knowledge about politics and socialization regarding general elections which can be an opportunity to increase public political participation in the political parties that organize them. This study aims to analyze how the influence of political education of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) on the political participation of the people of North Bekasi City ahead of the 2024 Election. This study uses a quantitative survey method by distributing online questionnaires to at least 100 respondents domiciled in North Bekasi City who were selected using purposive sampling. The results of the study show that PKS political education has a positive influence on the political participation of the people of North Bekasi City ahead of the 2024 Election, with a correlation of 0.743. The simple linear regression test produced an R Square value of 0.552, which means that PKS political education contributed 55.2% to the political participation of the people of North Bekasi City ahead of the 2024 Election. The contribution of PKS political education to the political participation of the people of North Bekasi City ahead of the 2024 Election had a quite significant influence, with 44.8% influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This study concludes that PKS political education has a sufficient influence on the political participation of the people of North Bekasi City ahead of the 2024 Election.
