Abstract
The advancement of information technology plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency across various sectors, including healthcare. This study aims to design and implement a web-based inventory management system for Chandrika Pharmacy to address issues with manual stock recording, which often leads to errors and inefficiencies. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the system was developed iteratively, involving users at every stage. Analysis utilizing the PIECES framework identified key system requirements, such as ease of real-time stock recording, accurate data management, and swift reporting. The resulting system leverages technologies such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, and the Laravel framework. Testing results indicate that the system improves operational efficiency, reduces recording errors, and provides real-time stock information. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the quality of pharmacy services by ensuring better drug availability and optimizing inventory management.
