Abstract
Central Java is one of the locations targeted by business people to set up their industries in the Central Java area because it has a low minimum wage, this has led to an increase in the number of companies located in Central Java. With the increasing number of companies, it is expected to absorb more labor. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the number of companies, minimum wages and investment on Labor Absorption in Central Java. The research method used in this research is panel data regression analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The data used in this study comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and is processed using Stata 17 software. The results of this study indicate that the variable number of companies, minimum wage and investment has a significant positive effect on labor absorption.
