Abstract
Injective contraception is the most widely chosen method of contraception by Indonesians to prevent pregnancy. Cibinong in Bogor Regency is the most contraceptive users and the widely used method is the injection contraceptive method with a total of 20,225 people. The most influential factors in the selection of injection contraceptive methods are maternal knowledge and husband support. The purpose of the research is to find out the relationship between the mother's knowledge and the husband's support with the selection of injection contraceptive methods in Cibinong. The research design used was cross-sectional with a sample of 139 KB acceptors and purposive sampling. Analysis of data using descriptive tests and Chi-Square tests Research results show that of 139 KB acceptors, 20-35 years old (71.2%), the highest level of education (Elemantry-high school) (81.3%), had one or two children (84.2%). There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and the choice of injection contraceptive methods with a p-value 0.001. There is no significant relationship between the husband's support and the choice of injection contraceptive methods by 0.096. Future researchers are expected to add variables influencing the husband's support to obtain more information.
