Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of carbon emission disclosure, environmental performance, and capital structure on firm value in manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2021-2023. Determination of the research sample using purposive sampling method with the final sample of 156 from 52 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 3-year research period. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis which includes regression model selection test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing using STATA 17 software. The results showed that carbon emission disclosure and environmental performance had no significant effect on firm value, while capital structure had a positive effect on firm value. This shows that firm value is not directly influenced by environmental performance, because investors are more interested in the company's financial performance that has the potential to generate good returns than the environmental performance of the company.
