Abstract

The purpose of this quantitative study is to determine the effect of media exposure, environmental performance, and audit committee on the spread of carbon emissions. The population in this study were manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021-2023. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method with a total sample of 156 data samples. The analysis method used is panel data regression with STATA software version 17. The results of the study indicate that the audit committee does not have a significant effect on carbon emissions. Meanwhile, media exposure and environmental performance have a positive and significant effect on carbon emissions.
