Abstract

The bullying phenomenon in Indonesia is increasing, especially at the end of 2023 and can be physical, verbal, sexual or psychological. Bullying occurs when there are differences in the social environment, such as race, religion, and economic status. In the educational environment, bullying often occurs to show one's strength and greatness. This research aims to analyze bullying scenes in the film "My Little Baby, Jaya" which is a film from South Korea. South Korea is the country with the highest suicide cases in the world in 2023. This research uses the concept of violence according to Alan Weiner, Zahn, and Sagi, which states that bullying is an act of violence that can harm one or more people. The researcher used a descriptive quantitative content analysis method by using a coding sheet containing 17 units of analysis. The results of this research are the percentage and number of bullying or violent scenes in the film "My Little Baby, Jaya". Research results from content analysis of the film "My Little Baby, Jaya" showed that physical violence (hitting, cutting, pushing, pulling hair and urinating) was 23.59%, verbal violence (insulting, mocking and shouting) was 21.79% , sexual violence (harassment by appearance, forcing harassment, holding the body, raping, allowing sexual violence, and they are visual) was 15.95%, and psychological violence (cursing, making fear, and threatening) was 38.65%..
