Abstract

This research aims to discuss Indonesia's Public Diplomacy in achieving its national interests through the organization of the 2022 Asean Para Games. The main concepts used in this research are national interest, human rights, and public diplomacy which divides its activities into three dimensions, namely news management, strategic communications, and relationship building. This research shows that the 2022 Asean Para Games can be used as a form of public diplomacy by Indonesia to achieve its interests. In this case Indonesia has an interest in raising the positive image of Indonesia through its role at the regional and global levels and promoting Indonesia's progress as an inclusive country and upholding the principle of equality.
