Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether or not there was an effect of giving a food bar of katuk leaf flour and torbangun leaves on the toxic symptoms of white rats. The research method used is True Experimental Design. The research was divided into 2 groups, namely 1) the treatment group which was given additional food products from foodbar, katuk leaf flour and torbangun; 2) control group who did not receive treatment. The data analysis used to test toxic symptom data was the Shapiro Wilk normality test followed by the Wilcoxon test, while to test body weight data the homogeneity (Levene) test was continued and then the Anova test. Observations carried out for 14 days did not reveal any toxic symptoms in all the test animals, namely mice. Meanwhile, the results of research based on the Wilcoxon test state the Asymp value. Sig. (2-Tailed) is 1,000. The Asymp.Sig value is greater than 0,05, so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted so it can be interpreted that there is no effect of giving katuk leaf and torbangun leaf flour food bars on signs of toxicity symptoms. Meanwhile, the Anova test results are Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed), namely 0,109, can be interpreted as Asymp.Sig ≥ 0,05 so that the rat body weight data does not experience significant differences in body weight.
