Abstract

This research examines the legislative process in Indonesia based on the Constitution, using the Constitutional Court's ruling on the Job Creation Law as a case study. This study employs a normative juridical method with statutory and case approaches. The data for this research were obtained from secondary sources. The findings indicate that the legislative process in Indonesia must follow the stages outlined in Law No. 12 of 2011 (P3 Law). Constitutional analysis reveals that the Job Creation Law was deemed conditionally unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court for not adhering to the established procedures in UU P3, particularly regarding the use of the Omnibus Law method and violations of legislative principles such as the clarity of purpose and transparency.
