Abstract

West Java Province is the province with the most MSMEs in the country. The MSME sector in West Java is certainly one of the important things driving the regional economy and also contributes to creating jobs and improving the regional economy. Of course, there are several factors that affect the number of workers in West Java Province. This study uses panel data from 2016-2021 in 27 districts / cities of West Java Province, using the FEM model analysis method. This study found that the variables JMU and IPC had a significant effect on employment in the Regency / City of West Java Province, but the variables LPE and MSE had no significant effect.
