Abstract
Back Ground: Spondylolisthesis is a condition which shows a forward shift of the vertebral body with the vertebrae below it. Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is electrical stimulation of peripheral nerves through the skin which is used for electroanalgesia. William Flexion Exercise is an exercise technique that aims to improve body posture, relax tense muscles, increase endurance, reduce pain, stretching and lordosis. Purpose: The study was conducted to determine the implementation of physiotherapy with modality (TENS) and William Flexion Exercise in patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis condition. Method: The study used a case study approach using a sample of patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis with treatment of 4 meetings within 3 weeks. The instruments used are VAS, goniometer, MMT, ODI. Result: (TENS) and William Flexion Exercise interventions in cases of lumbar spondylolisthesis are a decrease in pain in movement pain and tenderness in the lower back, an increase in the range of motion of the joints, there was an increase in functional ability, but there was no visible increase in muscle strength of the trunk. Conclusion: The intervention of TENS and William Flexion Exercise in cases of lumbar spondylolisthesis can reduce pain, enhance LGS and functional activity.
