Abstract

PD Jangkar operates in the consumer products industrial sector which produces raw crackers. This company has 6 work stations with a total of 30 workers. In this company, in carrying out its activities, there are still many people involved with manual tools (manual material handling). Apart from that, in this company there are indications that the workers have poor body posture. This study aims to identify the characteristics of work posture, workload and fatigue, as well as the relationship between posture and workload and work fatigue using the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (CMDQ) method for work posture, measuring physical workload using the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) method. , and Subjective Self Rating Test to determine fatigue. The results of this research show that the parts of the body that feel the most pain are the shoulders, waist, back, upper arms and lower arms. Meanwhile, the % CVL shows that there are 13 out of 30 people with a % CVL greater than 30%. The results of the SSRT method show that 5 out of 30 people are in the high fatigue category, 22 people are in the medium category, and 3 people are in the low category. The Spearman correlation test between work posture and fatigue shows a significant relationship with a strong correlation level. Physical workload and work fatigue also have a significant relationship with a very strong correlation level.
