Abstract

The development of technology in recent years has brought significant changes in education. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has opened wider and more flexible access to educational resources, creating innovative opportunities in various disciplines through distance learning, educational applications, and online platforms. One notable innovation is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. AR enables the integration of two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) virtual objects into the real environment in real-time, offering deeper and more concrete interaction in education. This study aims to develop a mobile-based educational application that uses markerless AR to enhance understanding of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a significant health condition that is poorly understood by the public. Through this application, it is expected to provide easily accessible information and increase awareness and understanding of BPH, aiding in early detection and appropriate treatment.
