Abstract

There is a potential amount of professional zakat/income for all indonesian people in 2022, baznas announced that the pottial amount in indonesia will reach 5.8 trillion rupiah. The focus of this research is on banten province, which has the potential for professional zakat/income reaching 105.0 billion, but the realization only reaches 18.5 billion. This research aims to find out the influce of sharia financial literacy, income and social life on interest in paying professional zakat in banten province. A quantitative approach was used with the partial least squares technique using the SmartPLS application. The sample was obtained using a non-probability sampling method using purposive sampling, involving 100 respondents who met the criteria of being muslim in banten province,and had a profession. Questionnaires are a data collection technique in this research. In this research, it is stated that the sharia financial literacy variable does not have a significant effect on interest in paying professional zakat, the income variable has a significant effect on interest in paying professional zakat and the social spirit variable can have a significant effect on interest in paying professional zakat.
