Abstract
Early Childhood Education (PAUD) has an important role in forming the foundation of children's education and development at an early age. PAUD creates an environment that supports learning and fosters children's development, where they can play, learn and explore the world with curiosity. PAUD Puspa Indah is one of the early education institutions that focuses on early childhood education, because in the area around PAUD Puspa Indah there are many young children who need access to good early education. Digital conditions require PAUD Puspa Indah to adapt to technological developments. The problem that arises is that staff who are responsible for accepting new students often spend a lot of time inputting student data into the Microsoft Excel application, and sometimes errors in reporting data to the principal occur. The aim of this research is to design a website-based information system for new student admissions at PAUD Puspa Indah. In designing the system to be created, this research uses the waterfall method as the main basis. This method is known as one of the methods in SDLC which has unique characteristics in its development process. In this research, the SDLC method is used because many studies regarding information systems for new student admissions use the SDLC method with a waterfall approach. With the website, PAUD Puspa Indah has the opportunity to carry out promotions more widely and efficiently, reaching prospective students from various regions. This research produces a website-based information system for new student admissions which is expected to overcome this obstacle and increase efficiency in the new student registration process, as well as providing more complete and easily accessible information.
