Abstract
Education plays a crucial role, especially in shaping national identity, one form being through the recognition and teaching of cultural values, such as regional songs. While education is important, teaching the younger generation about local culture is a challenging task that requires more dynamic and interactive methods. To address this issue, a program was developed that plays regional songs via an RFID CARD; simply tapping the card triggers the song corresponding to the region on the card. This research aims to design a children's learning media using ESP32 and RFID, develop an IoT application to play regional songs online, and analyze two playback schemes via RFID and the application, including LCD display compatibility and song playback on DFPlayer, RFID read range, ESP32 reading response time, and data storage on Firestore. The research results indicate that the device effectively displays song information through LCD and stores card information on Firestore using both RFID and the application. The maximum effective RFID reading distance is 3.5 cm. The RFID tag reading response time is 1.321 seconds, and through the application is 1.0943 seconds. Additionally, the device can stop the song by tapping or pressing the button on the same tag. The device can last up to 3 hours and 22 minutes in operation using one 18650 battery.
