Abstract
PT. X is a company actively involved in various aspects of the lubricant industry, including grease, specialty products, base oils, chemicals, and their raw materials. Given the high increase in lubricant demand driven by the growing number of motor vehicles in Indonesia each year, PT. X plans to establish a plastic container factory to support its lubricant production needs. To support this plan, a feasibility study on the construction of the plastic container factory needs to be conducted, covering market aspects, technical and operational aspects, management and organizational aspects, legal aspects, environmental and social aspects, financial aspects, and sensitivity analysis under optimistic, best, and pessimistic conditions for the next five years. Based on data processing for two planned locations, it was found that for the North Jakarta location, the project is feasible under optimistic conditions, with a positive NPV of Rp 199.564.844.379, a PP of 3,9 years, a PI greater than 1 at 1.19, and an IRR of 37,016%. For the Bekasi location, the project is also feasible under optimistic conditions, with a positive NPV of Rp 376.569.452.487, a PP of 2,2 years, a PI greater than 1 at 1.19, and an IRR of 104,047%.
