Abstract
Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is caused by the dengue virus (arbovirus), which enters the body through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. DHF patients must receive comprehensive treatment. This research aims to determine nursing care for patients with DHF in the Alamanda Room, Tarakan Hospital, Jakarta. Research Methods: The research method used was a case study in the form of nursing care for one patient with DHF problems for three days with the patient's consent. Research Results: The assessment data found signs and symptoms of DHF in An. K., like fever, body weakness, and red spots on An's hands and feet, decreased appetite, nausea, and vomiting. The diagnosis made in An. K. is hypovolemia, which is the priority diagnosis. Nursing interventions given to DHF patients are in accordance with nursing care standards. Nursing implementation for DHF patients has been carried out. Conclusion: Implementation of nursing care for An. K is expected to run according to a nursing care plan that achieves the result of solving the problem of hypovolemia. Suggestion: It is hoped that in the future nurses will be able to provide optimal nursing care, especially for DHFpatients.
