Abstract
Background: In 2022, the Maternal ortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia was recorded at 3,572 deaths, showing a significant decrease compared to the previous year, namely 7,389 deaths in 2021. Hypertension during pregnancy is a health problem which is one of the three main causes of high mortality rates and morbidity during delivery, along with infection and bleeding. Objective: This research is useful for providing nursing care to Mrs. D in the third trimester of pregnancy in the Kp.Pulo Kambing area. Method: Descriptive in case form Ny.D. ResultS: Mrs. D has a history of hypertension from her father and a history of preeclampsia in her first pregnancy 9 years ago. Mrs. The diagnosis found ineffective peripheral perfusion, disturbed sleep patterns, knowledge deficit and risk of injury to the fetus. Conclusion: Ineffective peripheral perfusion includes vital sign monitoring and relaxing massage of the head and temporalis. Knowledge deficit, education is planned about adherence to a low salt diet, the importance of consuming lots of fruit and vegetables, and the benefits of vitamins during pregnancy. Sleep pattern disturbances include identifying sleep patterns and activities, establishing a regular sleep schedule, and modifying the environment (such as closing curtains, turning off lights, reducing noise, and straightening blankets), as well as providing eyemasks and earplugs. Meanwhile, the risk of injury to the fetus includes measuring the FHR and ensuring a comfortable sleeping position for the fetus).
