Abstract

Organizations require competent human resources to achieve their goals. The recruitment process of the student choir (PSM) Gita Advayatva still relies on conventional methods that lack a clear calculation basis, leading to uncertainty in decision-making and potential biases in the selection process. This research aims to design a decision-support system for the recruitment process of PSM Gita Advayatva using the best decision-support method. The methods employed in this study are the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and the Weight Product (WP), both evaluated using the Rank Spearman test. Based on the Rank Spearman test results, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) achieved an accuracy score of 0.96 for male alternatives and 0.998 for female alternatives. In contrast, the accuracy scores for the Weight Product (WP) were 0.92 for male alternatives and 0.93 for female alternatives. In the implementation of the decision support system, the decision support method utilized is the one with the highest accuracy, which is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The data used in this research are the results of interviews and auditions for recruiting members of PSM Gita Advayatva in 2022 and 2023. The objective is to build a decision support system for recruiting new members of PSM Gita Advayatva based on a website to facilitate the recruitment process for new members of PSM Gita Advayatva.
