Abstract

The increased use of mobile payments in Indonesia has led to high competition among service providers. Therefore, companies must take action to retain users and encourage sustainable usage. This study aims to investigate the determinants of the reuse rate of mobile payments in Indonesia. The research model is adopted from the Technology Continuance Theory (TCT) with modifications tailored to the mobile payment system. The study assesses the influence of security perceptions and reward program value on the reuse rate, with positive attitudes and satisfaction as mediating factors. Data were collected from Generation Z in Indonesia using mobile payments, with a total of 200 samples gathered through a web-based self administered survei. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The result of the testing indicate that perceived security and value of reward program have a significant positive influence on Gen-Z positive attitude and Gen-Z satisfaction, Gen-Z positive attitude and Gen-Z satisfaction have a significant positive influence on continuance rate to use mobile payment.
