Abstract

Adolescence is a period of emotional change and a high sense of curiosity, this condition causes adolescents to be faced with various reproductive problems such as free sex, unwanted pregnancies, HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study was to find out about the relationship between family resilience and adolescent self-control with reproductive health behavior in adolescents at SMPN 147 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design. Sampling was carried out using the Stratified Sampling technique. The required sample is 250 people. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test. The results of the Chi Square analysis found that there was a significant relationship between family resilience and reproductive health behavior with a p-value (0.000) and an OR (Odd Ratio) value of 2.526 and a significant relationship between self-control and reproductive health behavior with a p-value (0.014) and the OR (Odd Ratio) value of 1,881. This research is expected to be the basis for the policy of providing reproductive health services at school settings such as providing counseling guidance for adolescents about reproductive health. In addition, it is hoped that schools can provide health promotion to students and collaborate with health services such as community health centers for early screening regarding reproductive health.
