Abstract
At SMP Negeri 213 Jakarta there are problems in scholar management to manage data that still does not use a computerized system in collecting data and scholar numbers so that it can slow down the work of administrative staff and it is also difficult to find back recorded data so that it can cause data redundancy which causes the final data results to be inaccurate. SMP Negeri 213 also stores teacher data, class data, student data, subject data, and grades data separately and are not connected to each other. An information system that integrates all the data needed by scholars. In addition, the academic information system also aims for teachers to be able to see teaching schedules, which classes are taught, see a list of students in certain classes, give grades online, and take online attendance so that schools have teacher attendance data. The method used in the development of academic information systems is the waterfall method where the waterfall method has several stages such as needs analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation. The results achieved by the scholar information system can display student data, teacher data, class data, subject data, schedule data, and values data. The information system is expected to simplify and accelerate the interests of the 213 Jakarta State Middle School scholars in managing scholarly data.
