Abstract
The Injury it self is directly proportional to athlete endurance, the lack of endurance of the athletes is caused by many factors one of which is hyperlaxity. Hyperlaxity is a condition in which connective tissue joints (ligaments) that one may to limber. Frequent injuries generally happen in high impact sports, which pencak silat are one of the martial arts that contain high impact condition. High Impact sport repercussion with the occurrence of flat feet which is a longitudinal curvilinear state of the foot decreases. According to a theory one of the long-term causes of flat feet is hyperlaxity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hyperlaxity and the incidence of flat feet in martial arts athletes to reduce the risk of injury to athletes. This type of research is observational analytic with crosssectional approach on 54 martial arts athletes with questionnaires, beighton scores and footprint tests and sampling techniques using total sampling method. Based on the results of statistical tests show a hyperlaxity relationship with the incidence of flat feet p = 0.028 (p <0.05). So we could conclude that there are some correlation between hyperlaxity with the accordance of flat feet phenomena in the DKI Jakarta regional martial arts athlete of the 2017-2020 period
