Abstract
This research aims to find out how is South Korea’ s strategy in promoting local cuisine with the role of influencer Jang Hansol “Korea Reomit” through 5 vlog Virtual Gastronomic Journey and how much influence is given by this individual non-state actor on culinary tourism interests of “Korea Reomit” subscribers from Indonesia to South Korea. 5 Virtual Gastronomic Journey vlogs are the object of this research and the author examines this research through a mixed method by describing South Korea's strategy in content analysis of the 5 Virtual Gastronomic Journey vlogs, as well as conducting a simple regression test with the research population of subscribers “Korea Reomit” YouTube channel with a total sample of 100 respondents. Through the analysis of these results, several patterns of gastrodiplomacy founded from Jang Hansol “Korea Reomit” in 5 Virtual Gastronomic Journey vlogs. These patterns are the main aspect that influence “Korea Reomit” subscribers towards their culinary tourism interests to Korea, based on the results 37% of determination test.
