Abstract
The relationship between business actors and consumers occurs because of an agreement or transaction between business actors and consumers so that buying and selling activities arise. However, mistakes are often made by business actors, such as in the production process of an item the resulting product is defective or not in accordance with the wishes of consumers which causes a default. This can harm consumers themselves and need accountability from the business actors themselves. In Indonesia, consumer protection has been regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection which regulates how business actors must be held accountable for their actions when negligent or in default in producing goods. In conducting this research, the author uses empirical juridical research methods based on case studies with direct interviews with one of the clothing convection business actors with Mrs. Rita Natalia Aritonang as the owner of the BliBliKaos clothing convection business, literature studies from various books and other scientific works and legality through the Book of Law. - Civil Law and other laws and regulations, which are then collected, analyzed, and processed. This study contains theories from the literature or previous reviews. This research is expected that the clothing convection business actors must always be careful in carrying out their obligations and produce clothes according to the agreement and if there is an error in the production process, the clothing convection business actor can provide accountability in accordance with the things regulated in the Act, regarding Consumer Protection.
