Abstract
PT X is a construction company under the auspices of BUMN which has ISO 45001:2018 certification. Based on accident case data and observations that were made, the results show that during the 2018-2021 period, there are work accidents happen in 6 large projects which belong to PT X. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of ISO 45001:2018 as an effort to prevent work accidents at PT X Construction Company in 2022. The method used in this study is qualitative, and it was done by using an observation check list that refers to ISO 45001:2018 guidelines and in-depth interviews to selected informants. As the result, PT X has implemented ISO 45001:2018 with a conformity value of 95.5% based on its guidelines, however, there are still obstacles in the application of clause 7.1; 7.2; and 7.3 regarding to the support from the aspect of resources, competence, and awareness of workers in implementing OHS aspects during activities in the project environment. For this reason, socialization and training about the implementation of the OHS management system need to be done to all workers at PT X, especially to the field workers; such as providing equipment based on the needs and eligibility standards along with making the technical regulations on supervision, monitoring, and special rewards and punishments which carried out by K3 project operators on the implementation of the ISO 45001 OHS management system in the field.
