Abstract
The long hemodialysis process causes psychological effects such as anxiety, as well as Covid-19 positive patients who have to do hemodialysis, will certainly add to the anxiety felt because they feel threatened. Caring Nurses who create a calm atmosphere, intertwined eye contact, attention concerns, and physical closeness are excellent for being closer to the patient and more easily entertaining the patient. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the relationship of Caring Nurses with Anxiety Levels in Hemodialysis Patients with Covid-19 at Koja Hospital, North Jakarta. This study used a cross-sectional research design conducted on 39 hemodialysis patients with Covid-19 with a total sampling method. The data collection was conducted using two questionnaires, namely the Caring with Caring Professional Scale (CPS) questionnaire and the anxiety level questionnaire with Zung Self Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). The results of the analysis were obtained that the relationship is a weak and positive pattern which means that there is no relationship between Caring and Anxiety Level in Hemodialysis Patients with Covid-19 which is measured subjectively using questionnaires with a value of p-value 0.932. For further researchers, we recommend expanding the number of samples and analyzing other factors that affect the anxiety levels of hemodialysis patients.
