Abstract
Podcasts not only function as entertainment media but also serve as digital media that can provide information and references for younger generations in observing communication styles used by content creators. “Diskusi Sehat 2025” is an episode of the Grind Boys Podcast that presents discussions in a casual conversational style and uses language closely related to everyday life. This study aims to determine the influence of exposure to the “Diskusi Sehat 2025” Podcast content on the use of slang among Grind Boys followers. The study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory survey involving 95 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation, simple linear regression, t- test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with IBM SPSS Statistics version 27. The findings show that exposure to the “Diskusi Sehat 2025” Podcast content has a positive and significant influence on slang usage among Grind Boys followers. The Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.522 indicates a positive relationship with moderate strength. The regression equation is Y = 19.259 + 0.564X. The coefficient of determination of 0.272 indicates that content exposure contributes 27.2% to the variation in slang usage, while 72.8% is explained by other factors outside the study. Therefore, higher exposure to Grind Boys Podcast content is associated with a greater tendency among followers to use slang in everyday communication.
