Abstract
Traditional herbal drinks have long been used by Indonesian communities as a means of maintaining health and preventing diseases. The increasing use of herbal products is believed to have a positive impact on people's quality of life. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the consumption of traditional herbal drinks and the quality of life of the Rawa Kopi community in Depok. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted involving 76 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data on the consumption of traditional herbal drinks were collected using a questionnaire, while quality of life was assessed using the WHOQOL-BREF instrument. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test and the Mann-Whitney test. The results demonstrated a significant relationship between the consumption of traditional herbal drinks and quality of life (p < 0.05), with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.805, indicating a very strong association. In addition, the Mann-Whitney test revealed a significant difference in quality of life between consumers and non-consumers of traditional herbal drinks (p = 0.000). It can be concluded that the consumption of traditional herbal drinks is associated with a better quality of life among the Rawa Kopi community in Depok.
