Abstract

This research is a quantitative study aimed at examining whether accounting information, Risk Tolerance, and Spendception influence Generation Z's investment interest in the digital era. The increasing number of young investors in Indonesia, particularly among Generation Z, reflects the growing importance of informational, psychological, and financial behavioral factors in shaping sustainable investment interest. This study uses Generation Z individuals domiciled in the Jabodetabek area who have previously invested or are currently actively investing in stocks through digital investment platforms as the sample. Sample selection was carried out using a purposive sampling technique and obtained 126 respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, and hypothesis testing was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis with the SmartPLS 4.0 application at a significance level of 10%. The results indicate that (1) accounting information has a positive and significant influence on investment interest, (2) Risk Tolerance has a positive and significant influence on investment interest, and (3) Spendception has a positive and significant influence on investment interest. These findings indicate that informational and psychological factors jointly play an important role in shaping Generation Z's investment interest within the context of digital financial behavior.
