Abstract
“Arus yang Menghidupi: Dari Lumpur ke Logam” is a documentary film that highlights the lives of metal miners around the Cipayung Landfill. This report aims to explain the implementation of the working positions of the camera operator and editor in the documentary film creation process. The creation was carried out through pre-production, production, and post-production stages with an observational approach combined with expository elements. The camera operator is responsible for designing visual needs through shot selection, composition, angles, and camera movements, while the editor creates visual structure, continuity, and editing rhythm. The creative results show that the collaboration of these two positions supports the delivery of the film's message about the lives of the miners in a clearer and more structured manner.
