Abstract
Childbirth is a physiological process that begins with regular uterine contractions and ends with the delivery of the fetus and placenta. The process of childbirth can occur vaginally or through a surgical procedure known as a cesarean section. A cesarean section is a surgical procedure performed on the abdominal wall and uterus to deliver the baby when there are certain indications or requests from the patient that could cause injury to the mother's abdomen. This case study aims to analyze the application of Evidence-Based Practice in the form of Biological Nurturing Baby Led Feeding intervention in patients with pain caused by abdominal wounds after cesarean section. The case study was conducted on two mothers after cesarean section with indications of anemia, giant baby, oblique, and oligohydramnios who experienced pain. Pain intensity was measured using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) instrument. The results of the intervention showed a decrease in pain intensity after three days of Biological Nurturing Baby Led Feeding, with the patient's score decreasing from 6 (moderate pain) to 2 (mild pain), while the other patient's score decreased from 5 (moderate pain) to 2 (mild pain). Thus, it can be concluded that the biological nurturing baby led feeding intervention has an effect on reducing pain intensity in post-cesarean section mothers.
