Abstract
Patient Safety Incidents (PSIs) remain a major and highly prominent issue in hospitals. TeamSTEPPS is presented as an effective method for preventing patient safety incidents by providing situation monitoring that can help resolve problems in the hospital environment. This research was conducted over three days and involved six nurses who were willing to participate in the Orchid and Tulip Rooms at Pasar Minggu General Hospital in Jakarta. The results show an increase in knowledge from 83,3% to 100% with a p-value 0,001 (p < 0,05). There was an increase in perception from 66,7% to 83,3% with a p-value 0,002 (p < 0,05). There was an increase in attitude from 50% to 66,7% with a p-value 0,002 (p < 0,05). This indicates the need for TeamSTEPPS training as a form of hope that it can help and facilitate nurses in carrying out their duties, and can prevent and minimize Patient Safety Incidents (PSIs) in hospitals.
