Abstract
Rapid advances in information technology have driven the shift in business systems from traditional methods to computer-based systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management. However, the use of technology in the home industry still faces several challenges, particularly in terms of order management, transaction recording, and inventory monitoring. Lilim Cake Shop, as a home business in Bogor City, still uses a manual system to date, utilizing WhatsApp and Instagram as ordering channels. This often results in delays in recording and the risk of losing order data. This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system that can simplify the process of ordering custom cakes, display product catalogs directly, and manage cake stock in an integrated manner. The method applied in software development is the Waterfall method, which includes steps such as needs analysis, system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementation using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, testing using the Black Box Testing method, and the system maintenance stage. The result of this study is an online ordering website that can support the owner of Lilim's Shop in automatically recording sales transactions, monitoring cake stock availability, and improving service quality to customers by providing clearer and more organized product information. This system is expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors in order recording. Keywords: Information System, Sales, Waterfall Method, Lilim's Cake Shop.
