Abstract

This study examines the influence of computer anxiety, computer attitude, and laboratory facilities on students’ ability to use accounting applications. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 148 Accounting students in Jakarta and analyzed through the PLS-SEM method using SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that computer anxiety has a significant negative effect, while computer attitude and laboratory facilities have significant positive effects on students’ competence in operating accounting software. These findings highlight that technological proficiency is shaped not only by academic understanding but also by psychological readiness and the availability of adequate learning facilities. The study emphasizes the need for educational institutions to strengthen digital literacy support and create learning environments that facilitate technological adaptation.
