Abstract
This study examines two topics: the impact of news about layoffs and the extent to which they influence consumer purchasing interest in the Blibli app. By distributing respondent data through social media and analyzing data using various methods, it can be concluded that the news about Blibli laying off 300 employees contributed 10.3% to consumer purchasing interest in the Blibli app, while the remaining 89.7% was influenced by other factors.
