Abstract
This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the role of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Panglima Polim Jakarta Branch Office in financing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study relies on primary data obtained through interviews with internal bank officials as well as secondary data from official documentation and reports. The results indicate that BSI plays a strategic role in expanding access to MSME financing through Sharia-based KUR and Non-KUR schemes, such as murabahah and musyarakah contracts. In addition to providing funds, BSI also carries out empowerment functions through business mentoring, financial literacy education, and the digitalization of financing services. Its proactive strategy, collaboration with MSME communities, and a Sharia-based approach are BSI's competitive advantages in reaching small business owners. This study concludes that BSI's presence has significantly contributed to strengthening the MSME sector and developing the people's economy in the South Jakarta area.
