Abstract
Pain that arises after cesarean section delivery can have an impact on the breastfeeding process, which risks causing the baby's nutritional intake to be not optimal, as well as disrupting the bonding process or attachment between mother and baby. DTM is one of the interventions that can reduce post-cesarean section pain. This study aims to analyze nursing care through DTM interventions in reducing postpartum pain. The method used is an assessment of the concept of nursing care, application of interventions, DTM in post-SC mothers for 15 minutes in the first 10 hours postpartum and the first 22 hours postpartum, analysis of the effectiveness of the intervention and evaluation of the results. The sample used in this scientific work is 2 post-SC mothers. The results of the analysis show that DTM is effective in reducing pain, increasing the comfort of mothers after cesarean section. In conclusion, DTM as a non-pharmacological therapy can be an innovation in maternity nursing care to reduce maternal pain after cesarean section.
