Abstract
One of the most common diseases in society is gout, which causes pain in certain parts of the body repeatedly. The number of gout sufferers in Indonesia increases every year. This is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, especially consuming foods that contain a lot of purine, as well as the lack of public knowledge about gout. The purpose of this study is to report family nursing care for Mr. A's family, especially Mrs. S with gout RT 03 RW 07 Limo Village, Depok City. The research design of this case was designed using a type of research with a descriptive case study approach involving nursing assessment, determining diagnoses and scoring, planning nursing actions, implementing nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The results of the nursing problems obtained were ineffective family health management related to the family's inability to recognize the health problems of family members with gout health problems, secondly acute pain related to the family's inability to care for family members, and the third diagnosis, impaired physical mobility related to the family's inability to care for family members with musculoskeletal system problems. It was concluded that the activities of warm ginger compresses and Range of Motion exercises were expected to be included in the nursing action laboratory process.
