Abstract
Hypertension is where systolic blood pressure exceeds 140 mmHg and diastolic more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that can cause various complications, including heart disorders such as heart attacks and heart failure. In addition, hypertension can also contribute to the emergence of other diseases, such as stroke and kidney failure. This study uses a case study method related to family nursing which is focused on families with hypertension problems in Mr. Y's family, especially Mrs. S. The writing showed on Mr. Y's family, especially Mrs. S, showed that Mrs. S experienced Ineffective Family Health Management problems related to the family's inability to care for family members with hypertension, Acute Pain related to the family's inability to have health problems, and Ineffective Health Maintenance related to the inability to utilize health care facilities. Nursing problems can be overcome according to proper and appropriate family nursing care. The advice is that it is hoped that support can be provided in overcoming hypertension problems, and can improve the ability to care for and maintain health.
