Abstract
This research examines the influence of competency, training, and self-efficacy on the hope to grow widyaiswara with affective commitment as a moderating variable in government agencies that have implemented talent management. Data collection was carried out through the method of distributing questionnaires using a google form which contained a list of statements regarding each variable. The respondents of this research were widyaiswara in agencies that have implemented talent management with a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis in this study used SmartPLS 4.0. Hypothesis testing using the PLS approach is carried out in two stages, testing the outer model and inner model. The outer model test was carried out to prove the validity and reliability of all indicators for each variable. The inner model test was carried out to test the influence between variables according to the previously established hypothesis. The results of the research show: (1) Competency has no and no significant effect on hope to grow, (2) Training has a significant and influence on hope to grow, (3) Self-Efficacy has a significant effect on hope to grow, (4) Competency which is moderated by affective commitment does not has an effect and is not significant on hope to grow, and (5) Training which is moderated by affective commitment has an effect and is significant on hope to grow.
