Abstract

The disappearance of borders between countries has strengthened cultural exchange, including in the food sector. This condition has encouraged many restaurants specializing in food from other countries to be established in Indonesia. However, many restaurants claim that their products are halal by simply stating "no pork no lard". This study aims to analyze the effect of price, halal certification, and perceived value on purchasing decisions of RamenYa! as a restaurant engaged in Japanese cuisine. This study uses a quantitative method with the PLS technique to analyze the data obtained. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents in Jabodetabek which were determined by the Lemeshow formula. The results of this study indicate that price, halal certification, and perceived value influence purchasing decisions for food at RamenYa! The implications of this finding indicate that consumer purchasing decisions for food at RamenYa! tend to increase when RamenYa! sets relevant prices compared to other ramen restaurants, consistently maintains and promotes halal certification, and creates a positive perception of value in the minds of consumers. This study is expected to provide input and evaluation for culinary business actors regarding the factors that need to be considered in assessing consumer purchasing decisions.
