Abstract

Imported products, especially instant noodles, are increasingly widespread in Indonesia, creating interesting market dynamics. The emergence of diverse brands from different countries provides consumers with a wide range of choices. However, there is still a lack of consumer awareness and understanding of a halal-labeled product, making it an important factor in purchasing decisions. On the other hand, erratic price fluctuations pose a significant challenge. In addition, the rapidly growing electronic word of mouth on social media can influence consumer perceptions, either positively or negatively, depending on the content delivered. This study aims to determine the halal label, electronic word of mouth, and price on purchasing decisions for imported instant noodles among students in Jabodetabek using a quantitative approach method. The sample size is 120 students. The technique in this study is multiple linear regression. The data processing tool used is SPSS software version 27. The results showed that the variables of halal labeling, electronic word of mouth, and price partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on purchasing decisions for imported instant noodles for students in Jabodetabek. This research is expected to provide insight for imported instant noodle producers to consider aspects of halalness, consumer reviews, and effective pricing strategies to improve purchasing decisions.
