Abstract
The Indonesian Medical Code of Ethics (KODEKI) is a set of professional ethical regulations that serve as a benchmark for ideal behavior and a safeguard against professional misconduct, including behavior related to Personal Branding. However, in early 2018, a case emerged involving a doctor exhibiting inappropriate behavior in Personal Branding, sparking public debate and controversy. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge of KODEKI and doctors' behavior in Personal Branding. Method: This research utilized an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. Respondents were members of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) in Bogor City who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Result: Bivariate analysis using the Fisher's exact test showed a P-value of 1.000 (P-value > 0.05), indicating no significant relationship between knowledge of KODEKI and doctors' behavior in Personal Branding. Conclusion: The study concluded that there is no significant positive relationship between knowledge of KODEKI and doctors' behavior in Personal Branding.
